Meredith Tiala has been chosen as our student of the month for May for the outstanding work she produced for Unit 8: Furniture Styles and Accessories.

About Meredith’s Course

NDA’s Diploma in Interior Design is fully validated by AIM Awards.

The Diploma in Interior Design is one of the most popular qualifications here at the National Design Academy. The diploma allows students a platform to build on their love for interior design whilst increasing their academic and practical skills and knowledge. The main course units that are covered in this diploma include drawing, design, lighting, finishes, soft furnishings and colour theory along with a selection of other topics.

The Diploma in Interior Design may also allow students a base to progress on to the BA in Interior Design that is validated by Staffordshire University.

What Meredith’s Tutor Says…

“Meredith fulfilled all of the criteria for each assignment to the highest standard and on top of this, included additional pieces of work to supplement each assignment that were not compulsory. She demonstrated strong technical ability and space planning skills, as evidenced by her rendered furniture plan, black and white furniture plan and traffic flow diagrams. The written work Meredith produced for this Unit was in depth, concise and to the point at all times. Another key skill that was apparent from this Unit is Meredith’s ability to keep the client brief in mind at every stage of the design process. Throughout her time studying with the NDA, Meredith has continued to present her work in a creative yet professional way. Well done Meredith!”
