The National Design Academy visited this years’s Index Interior Design Exhibition in Dubai:
After the success of last year’s Exhibition, the National Design Academy had a few very busy days at this year’s Index Interior Design Exhibition last week. It was a chance to meet lots of potential new students, as well as getting the chance to chat to some current students who had stopped by just to say hello.
This year the National Design Academy had a great stand position which generated lots of interest in the Diploma and the Masters Degree courses from the International market. With six people manning the stand, and each member of the team able to speak a different language the NDA was able to speak to potential students from all over the world.
They were also able to give advice on fees and funding and answer any further questions people had on the day. Four existing students helped Rola and PK on the stand this year; Malak, Sonia, Sandra and Hadeel.
Having current students on the stand was also very helpful as they were able to share their own experiences and knowledge of the courses with potential students.
Overall the exhibition was a really valuable and rewarding opportunity for potential students as they were able to gain all the information needed directly from our National Design Academy team.
Rola, the NDA Dubai office Development Manager also presented at Index’s ‘Design Talk’ section this year. Rola talked about the development of interior design in the GCC countries and discussed how Dubai is affecting the region since the announcement of Expo 2020.
An impressive number of people who attended the Design Talks and the NDA team were also interviewed by Index media to talk about the success of its students (interview coming soon.)
NDA had a great time at the exhibition this year, and look forward to meeting more potential students next year.
See you next year Index.
