At the National Design Academy we are busily preparing for our 2014 graduation and we thought we’d give you a sneak preview of how we will all be celebrating the success of our students this year.
All students graduating this year will have already received a letter from Staffordshire University and will have registered their place and paid the required fees.
Graduation day is on Friday 18th July so keep the date free! The celebrations will be held at Trentham Gardens and will start around midday.
Being an online course provider, graduation is often one of the most exciting and rewarding days for us all at NDA, it gives us the chance to meet our students face to face, often for the very first time, which is always a wonderful experience. On the day, you will be cheered on by your National Design Academy tutors, who will be positioned on the stage, resplendent in full gowns and beaming proudly.
As an NDA graduate, you and your guests are invited to our prestigious champagne reception held within our dedicated marquee area. On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by our Director of Quality and Business; Helen Keighley, as well as the Academy Director; Pauline Riley. If you make your way over to the welcome table, you will be given a name badge and directed to your personal tutor and of course, offered a complimentary glass of bubbles!
Pauline Riley will then take to the stage to officially congratulate all of our wonderful NDA graduates and announce our Student of the Year. We will then all head across to the main stage for the official graduation ceremony.
Agenda for the day
12:00pm: Arrive at Trentham Gardens, register at the main marquee reception desk and collect gowns
12:30pm: Make your way over to the NDA marquee and meet your tutor
1:00pm: Academy Director’s speech and Student of the Year announced
1:30pm: Make your way over to the Graduation Hall
2pm: Graduation ceremony commences
