If you’re into gaming, keep reading. We are always on the look out for different ways to keep you inspired.

Sometimes, we just want to sit back and enjoy a good session of décor gaming, city creating or have our architectural knowledge put to the test. These games are perfect for just that.

These 5 examples are a tiny representation of what is available in the gaming world. If you know of any (preferably design related) and would recommend them, please let us know in the comments!

Game 1: Design Home

Design Home is perfect for home décor enthusiasts and budding interior decorators. You can use real brands to decorate the space and the community ranks your final design. There are also challenges placing your skills against other players for in-game currency (diamonds) and more.

 

Game 2: Home Design Makeover

Imagine your favourite TV interior décor makeover show then combine that with a touch of candy crush and you have Home Design Makeover. Satisfying those home improvement needs, giving you life-like character scenarios along the way, with opportunities to move through the levels and gain points.

 

Game 3: City Island 5 – Tycoon Building Simulation

This game seems ideal for those who remember a time when ‘Sims’ was the game to play, effectively where you got to create your own world. The App store on Google Play explains.

Game 4: Architecture History Review Game

This is a photo guessing game about architecture history. Test your knowledge on the history of architecture by identifying the different images presented in the app. Each level features either a building element, a type of building, a part of a building, etc. and ranges from several topics such as pre-historic architecture, contemporary architecture and the architecture history of the asia-pacific region.

 

Game 5: Guess the Architect

The same developers from ‘Architecture History Review Game’ created the Guess the Architect game, the aim is in the name. Each level features either a renowned architectural masterpiece or trivia: the objective is to guess the name of the architect who the image is referring to! This is a great way to build on your architectural knowledge.
