Porcelain is not just for plates!

Delft Central Railway Station

Mecanoo Architects are redesigning the railway station at Delft, Netherland. As you know, Delft is famous for its blue and white porcelain so it seems appropriate that it is used to decorate the station…all of it!

The top level will be glass-ceilinged, and even the underground levels will have a feel of transparency and light. Vaulted ceilings, archways and a strong use of white and blue will lighten the visual weight of the complex that will include a 30,000 square-metre public hall.

What is UK Government Funding?

UK students pay approximately 50% of the full course fee – the balance is funded by the UK Government’s Adult education budget (AEB).

The National Design Academy is the only design school to be able to offer this funding as our Diplomas are all fully accredited by AIM Qualifications.
