The Brief

To celebrate the launch of Dulux Colour of the Year 2020 ‘Tranquil Dawn’, The National Design Academy teamed up with Marianne Shillingford, Creative Director of Dulux to present the first NDA National Design Award, Featuring Dulux Colour of the Year 2020.

Your task was to WOW the judges with your use of ‘Tranquil Dawn’ and, so that you could do just that, we provided two creative and challenging briefs for you to choose from, one commercial and one residential.

Both briefs included both an indoor and terrace area, highlighting the extensive range of interior and exterior Dulux paint finishes available.

Whichever scheme you chose, at least 50% of your surfaces must have used the Dulux Colour of the Year 2020.
