Master's Degree (MA)
The National Design Academy's MA Interior Design is the UK's only, truly flexible Online Master’s degree in interior design where you can choose your own start date and study flexibly alongside a career or family. The MA Interior Design is the final stage in the development of a professional interior designer. The MA will provide designers with the skills to enter management or to start their own design practice.
Successful graduates from NDA BA (Hons) courses are offered a guaranteed progression route onto the Master’s degree. Direct entry onto the MA Interior Design from students who have studied elsewhere are also welcome. See Entry Requirements for this course.
Most NDA students take approximately 12 months to complete this course and some students take longer – a maximum of 3 years is allowed as study time is flexible.
The MA degree course will allow you to further develop your critical thinking and research skills The MA in Interior Design is for those who are looking for a career in design at management level, or wish to widen their existing skills in order to run their own design practice.
The MA will help to create many different career opportunities for graduates as it will show employers and practice managers that not only do they have an advanced knowledge of interior design but also the research skills required to maintain their future development.
The MA Interior Design is taught as an online distance learning course through the NDA’s bespoke Virtual Learning Studio (VLS). It is truly flexible, students can choose their own start date and study at times that fit around their work, family and lifestyle.
All of the degrees at the National Design Academy are fully-accredited and awarded by our Academic Partners, Staffordshire University.On successful completion of their MA Interior Design, students are invited to attend the fabulous Staffordshire University graduation ceremony by the lakes at Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire. This is always a wonderful day where students can celebrate everything they have accomplished with friends, family, NDA tutors and fellow design students.
