Meet Hasan Nour Eldine

For Hasan Nour Eldine, interior design is far more than a career; it’s a lifelong passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation. With a deep love for timeless interiors and an exceptional eye for detail, he has carved out a prestigious career, working on some of the most opulent residential projects in Doha, Qatar. As Head of Retail for high-end furniture showrooms, Hasan fuses classic elegance with contemporary flair, crafting spaces that are both refined and personal.

But his path to success wasn’t immediate. It was built through years of dedication, relentless learning, and an unwavering passion for design. From earning his MA in Interior Design at the National Design Academy to leading the charge in luxury interiors, Hasan shares his story, inspirations, and advice for aspiring designers.

What Course Did You Study at the National Design Academy and When Did You Complete Your Course?

I studied the MA in Interior Design, which I completed back in August 2023.

 

What Inspired You to Pursue Interior Design?

I completed my BA in Interior Design in 2011, and since then I have always been willing to continue my education in the field as I love everything related to Interior Design and Furniture.

 

Can You Share Your Journey from Graduation to Where You are Now?

At the moment I work as Head of Retail for high-end and luxury furniture showrooms located in Doha, Qatar. Working with Tivoli Group, this role gives me the opportunity to work on big residential projects and palaces while implementing different style such as French classic, contemporary, new classic, luxury modern.

How Did Your Education in Interior Design Prepare You for the Challenges in the Industry?

In fact, my education in Interior Design taught me how to take care of details in early stages or the projects. I can identify, analyse and address the challenges from the first moment I start to working on any project.
 

Who or What are Your Biggest Influences in Interior Design?

I find inspiration in everything and everyone around me, except for trends. As a designer, I strive to create timeless spaces rather than follow fleeting styles. When working with a client on their home, they become my primary source of inspiration, and I engage them deeply in the process to ensure the design reflects their personality and needs. At the same time, I bring my own signature touch, often incorporating colors in thoughtful ways. I have a deep appreciation for eclecticism, blending diverse elements to create spaces that feel both curated and authentic.

After Graduation, How do you Continue to Learn and Grow as an Interior Designer? Are there any Resources (books, websites, events) that You could Recommend to Fellow Graduates?

I keep growing in the field by reading about the future of Interior Design, specially with the A.I influence. Also, I attend events and platforms that encourages designer from around all world to share insights and ideas. I would recommend to visit Maison & Objet in France, Salone del Mobile in Italy, or any local event that focuses on Interior Design. These events are very important for our creative and technical development.
 

What Advice Would You Give to Recent Graduates About Navigating the Early Stages of Their Careers, Especially in Terms of Finding Opportunities and Growing Professionally?

If I could give one piece of advice to recent graduates, it would be this: love what you do and trust your instincts. Success isn’t just about talent, it’s about passion, perseverance, and staying true to yourself. Give yourself the time to learn and grow, and don’t rush the process. Every project you work on should reflect your unique character and vision.Be open to different opportunities, our industry is vast, and there are many paths to explore. You might start in one direction and find your true passion elsewhere. Embrace that journey.Most importantly, never compare your work to others. Design is deeply personal, shaped by our experiences, perspectives, and tastes. Stay humble, keep learning, and approach every opportunity with an open mind. The best designers are not just skilled, they are curious, adaptable, and always evolving.
