Workshop: Model Making

Particularly useful for Modules 2 and 5 of the Foundation Degree, the BA (Hons) Degree, but will also appeal to anyone interested in Interior Design.

Turning design ideas into a 3D model is a straightforward way to understand space and how it works in relation to your design concept. In this Workshop you will be provided with the skills needed to build 3D models from 2D plans using a range of materials such as foam board, mount board or thick acetate to directly represent materials such as glass or stone.

Finally, you will see how different ways of mounting your model on a variety of materials increases the overall perception of quality and conveys professional standards.
