Workshop: Making a Bed Valance

During this one-day workshop you will learn how to make a tailored bed valance with a professional finish to fit any size of bed divan.

You will construct a sample-size bed valance with stylish inverted box pleats.

You will also learn how to accurately measure and calculate the amount of fabric required as well as pattern matching and how to cut out accurately to minimise waste.

Bring along 1 metre of fabric plus 25cm of a contrast fabric which will be used for the piping. Please bring linen union or cotton mix or similar firm fabric. Reasonable sewing skills are required.
