During this Introduction to Curtain Making Workshop, you will learn how to construct a pencil pleat curtain to a professional standard.

We will take you through the construction process from accurately cutting out your curtain fabric and forming mitred corners to the hand stitches that produce a quality finish.

During the day we will also discuss aspects of curtain making for a professional finish such as fitting, complete a practical exercise on how to measure plus calculate fabric quantities for plain fabric.

Fabric requirements for this workshop are one metre of curtain fabric and one metre of lining fabric. Curtain tape and weights are provided.
