Universities Week is being celebrated with 100 students graduating with a Foundation Degree in Interior Design!

National Design Academy students are celebrating their success as the Academy's first Foundation Degree graduates. All of the students have studied and completed the course by online distance learning, enabling them to continue to work whilst they study, allowing them to avoid the huge debt levels faced by today's graduates and all are looking forward to the graduation ceremony this July.
The Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) offered by the Academy are validated by Staffordshire University, ensuring students gain a top quality degree without having to attend university full time.
This course epitomises the comments made by David Willets last week in which he suggested that students should be able to study at universities in other areas without leaving home. Distance learning study is fast becoming a popular choice - both with students and ministers, as the country looks to find a solution to the growing demands of Higher Education and the financial pressure this is causing to both the economy, students and their families.
